ITALIAN SANGRIA

Sangria is Spanish, we all know that, but as I live in Italy, I made an Italic version. This red sangria is a delicious drink for holiday gatherings. It’s super easy to make, and you can (actually, you should) prepare it a day ahead. So all you have to do when your guests arrive is to serve the drink and celebrate.

A CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR ITALIAN COOKS

HOW TO MAKE THE ITALIAN SANGRIA

The ingredients of this red Christmas sangria recipe are classic: apples, cinnamon, cloves, and tangerines. But then there’s rosemary, a wintry herb that perfectly exalts the flavor of apples and wine.

To make the Italian Christmas sangria really delicious, you must use a good quality wine. Choose between Sangiovese, Dolcetto, Nero d’Avola, Primitivo di Manduria, Barbera, or Lambrusco.
