Most people prepare for Italy by booking flights, choosing hotels and making restaurant reservations.
Very few prepare to understand it.
And yet, understanding a place is often what transforms a pleasant holiday into a journey that stays with you forever.
If you’re planning a trip to Italy and would like to experience it beyond the obvious, I’d be delighted to help.
A Different Way to Prepare for Italy
This is neither an Italian language course nor a traditional travel planning service.
It is a personalised journey designed around you.
Together, we’ll prepare not only your itinerary, but also the way you’ll look at Italy once you arrive.
We’ll talk about your interests, your destinations, your curiosity, and we’ll gradually introduce Italian language through the stories, traditions and places you’ll actually encounter during your trip.
Because language is much easier to remember once it becomes part of a place, a meal, a story or a memory.

How It Works
We begin with a short questionnaire and an introductory conversation.
This allows me to understand:
- where you’re travelling
- what you’re most curious about
- your current level of Italian
- how you prefer learning
From there, I’ll prepare a personalised programme for you.
Before each session you’ll receive a short reading selected from one of my books, together with a few Italian words or expressions connected to that week’s topic.
During our conversations we’ll speak in English whenever needed, gradually introducing more and more Italian as your confidence grows.
No pressure.
No grammar exercises.
Just Italy.

Before we begin your personalised journey, we’ll meet online to talk about your trip, your interests and the Italy you’re hoping to discover.
At the end of our conversation I’ll prepare a personalised proposal for your journey.
Should you decide to continue, the cost of this first conversation will be deducted from your personalised programme.
A Small Promise
I can’t promise you’ll avoid every tourist trap.
I can’t promise perfect weather.
And I certainly can’t promise that trains will always be on time.
