Place the cinnamon sticks (cut in 2 or three), the nutmeg (a piece of the whole nut), ginger, cloves, and the allspice berries in a grinder/food processor, and pulse until well powdered.
Store your precious Christmas spice mix in an airtight jar.
I use a teaspoon or two of the spice mix when baking cookies or cakes. A tablespoon on popcorns (mixed with butter or a mild extra-virgin olive oil or coconut oil) and a few pinches sprinkled on hot chocolate, cappuccino, latte macchiato, or hot tea.
