Claudia Rinaldi
Author, photographer, researcher.
Writing from Rome, tracing the meaning of Italy through long walks and ritual.
I write about the Italy I walk through every day.
I’m interested in what reveals itself through it—
how food, places, and encounters carry memory, ritual, and meaning.
Markets in the morning. A museum. Archives in the afternoon. Wine in the evening.
Long walks. Conversations that become recipes.
Notebooks full of questions.
I write the Simposio travel cookbook series: literary and culinary journeys that explore Italian cities, seasons, and regions through lived culture and memory.
I also write Italian Colors, a Sunday Letter from Rome.
My work begins with people – greengrocers, bakers, restaurateurs, friends (and their nonne).
I listen. I cook. I cross-check. Then I write.
If you’d like to sit at the table of this symposium, you’re welcome.
