I write the Simposio travel cookbook series: literary and culinary journeys that explore Italian cities, seasons, and regions through lived culture and memory.

I also write Italian Colors, a Sunday Letter from Rome.

My work begins with people – greengrocers, bakers, restaurateurs, friends (and their nonne).

I listen. I cook. I cross-check. Then I write.
