The Simposio Collection
Beauty grows with knowledge.
I began writing the Simposio books because I wanted to rediscover the beauty of my country by understanding it.
Maybe I was growing and needed to go deeper. Maybe I was done with tourism. Maybe I was traveling more and felt something was missing.
It all began by framing recipes with their stories. But then other stories followed. And curiosity led me to another question. The joy of knowing grew, and so did the satisfaction of culture.
The way I looked at places, nature, bowls of pasta, and glasses of wine was changing.
Eventually, it changed the way I wrote and photographed.
Eventually, the Simposio books were born.
Today, every Simposio book is my invitation to experience a part of Italy through culture: not simply by visiting it, but by understanding it.
To understand Italy’s beauty, you have to embrace a little of its culture, heritage, stories, and rituals.
It will challenge you.
It will delight you.
It will change you.

The Banquet of Books
Each Simposio book is a course in the eternal symposium — guiding you through Italy’s seasons, cities, and regions.
NEW IN: TUSCIA
If you’re drawn to real Italian food—the kind that still carries the scent of firewood and wild herbs—this banquet is for you.
Tuscia’s Simposio is my latest cookbook. It begins by opening an old cabinet in a country house: each shelf holds a story, each drawer conceals a recipe passed down through generations.
Made in Italy and steeped in local memory and Etruscan legend, it is a place where nymphs and gods still linger in the hills—and where dishes rarely travel beyond the village table.
