Flora
Pleasure.
Flora was a “minor” goddess of ancient Roman mythology—the goddess of flowers, the one who brought color to them. Before her, they were all the same.
She was also the goddess who brought beauty and pleasure into the lives of Romans.
During the Floralia, the celebrations in her honour, people adorned their heads with flower crowns, attended torch-lit banquets, ate, drank, danced, and played jokes.
She is one of my favorite goddesses, and this is my tribute to her.
