Moments.

This photograph was taken during the making of Venice’s Simposio. I wanted to capture a moment of light, of emotion, perhaps even a trace of pathos.

It reminds me that Venice, beyond overtourism and chaos, can still be lived differently: taking your time, moving slowly, searching for culture, for ghosts, for memories.

This, to me,  is the most meaningful essence of Italy.
